Life Aid Research Institute seeks to validate new and emerging technology and functional medicine approaches to reducing suicide by improving whole health and empowering resilience. This integrative therapy, evidence based, approach utilizes peer support, technology, functional medicine, and community activation. Life Aid Research Institute focuses on brain injuries: Concussion, TBI, PTSD, & Toxic Exposure. And seeks to reduce mental health symptoms: Depression, Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Sleep Disorders, Isolation & Headaches.
Life Aid Research Institute creates a baseline heath assessment for each participant using brain imaging and brain mapping along with gathering a complete medical history to determine the best personalized therapeutic plan. Life Aid studies the effect the program has on brain health, blood flow and brain activity in relation to reduced depression scores and suicidality. Analytics inform the recommendations of a new, more advanced treatment protocol.
